What was the highlight of The Spencer Hotel
Pleasant
Spacious room 2 dbl bed. Spacious shower. Sunny room north facing with view as requested. 3 elevators. Undercover parking but not free.
Parking 30 per day. Found out later in small print. No free parking in this area. A letter at check in stating daily room service if requested $35 per day. Tv connection cut out many times a day. Restaurant 2nd fl advertised prices in elevator incorrect. Ordered Fish & Chips $16 but charged $19. Forgot to serve my wine, near cold chips and the fish was not fresh but a wedge shaped fish stick. No guest laundry. Would not stay here of not paid for by company and have to be in this area. Hard to handle Nespresso coffee machine. No plunger.

What was the highlight of The Spencer Hotel
Great location, fantastic views, nice quite room and very good gym/pool.
View was fantastic. Gym was really good and the pool was very nice . No restaurant in the hotel but only a few minutes walks from a number of restaurants and take aways. Had to pay for parking - both on the street and at the hotel.
A cushion on the sun loungers might have been nice.

Need to pick up their game before we'll stay again
Superb location, quiet, very comfortable beds
Unfortunately this hotel isn't maximising its potential. The furniture and fittings in the room were tired and the kitchenette contents were very lacking eg no sharp knife for cutting or coffee plunger. Coffee in sachets was old, hard and undrinkable. Cheap nasty bathroom toiletries in environmentally unfriendly packaging and toilet tissue dispenser rusty and broken. Disappointing.
